Parents

As a school, we strive to be the hub of our local community and to provide a place where our parents, families and the wider community can come together. We host regular events and provide many opportunities for our Woodside Community to immerse themselves in school life.

These include:

  • Family cooking sessions,
  • Coffee mornings,
  • Stay, play and learn (in class sessions),
  • Toy library,
  • English language classes,
  • Family first aid,
  • Leader in Me (learning alongside your child about the ‘7 Habits of highly effective children’ by Steven Covey) breakfasts;
  • Community Fire Works, Christmas Market and the Summer Fair

These are just a few!

The Woodside Journey

As a parent and/or carer, you have the right to expect your child to be safe, enjoy their learning and make great progress. By the end of their Woodside journey (Year 6), your child would have gained a strong sense of self and resilience; a wider, varied skill set; and leadership tools to continue on to the next stage of their learning journey and beyond.

At Woodside, we also recognise the importance of supporting you as parents and carers, in a rapidly changing world and we are united in our focus of one clear goal:  the best possible outcomes for your children.
